Health insurance plans that fit you and your family

When you’re looking for health insurance, it’s a good idea to take a look at all the angles. You want coverage that works with your lifestyle, helps you get the best care possible and fits with your financial picture. That’s where UnitedHealthcare comes in.

With a wide range of plans and an incredibly diverse network of doctors, clinics and hospitals across the nation, you’ll have access to many options with Golden Rule Insurance Company, a UnitedHealthcare company. No matter where life takes you, our plans are designed to deliver high quality care and affordable prices.

You can explore Affordable Care Act (ACA) options from multiple carriers in your area through our affiliated agency HealthMarkets. Or you can call 800-980-5213 or look for ACA plans on the Health Insurance Marketplace at Healthcare.gov.

Medicare & Medicaid

Medicare is for people who are 65 and older and/or are disabled. Medicaid is for people and families with lower incomes. Understand the differences between Medicare and Medicaid.

Self-employed plans

If you're self-employed, you may qualify for individual coverage. Choose from a variety of plans made to fit your needs and budget.

Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNP)

We offer health plans for people who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid. They are called Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans.

Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

If your child doesn’t have health insurance, there’s help. The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) offers low-cost or no-cost coverage for infants, children and teens.

Footnotes

  1. By selecting certain deductibles, coverage options and term lengths available, you could save on your base premium. See specific plans for details.
  2. Short term health insurance is medically underwritten, does not cover preexisting conditions and may not cover all Essential Health Benefits in your state. It does not meet minimum essential coverage requirements, meaning signing up for this coverage may result in a tax penalty. Expiration or termination of a Short Term Medical plan does not trigger an ACA special enrollment opportunity.
